AG Special Education
The work of the Special Needs Education working group is based on a humanistic view of humanity and scientifically sound findings.
We train students for teaching-related professions in inclusive and special educational settings as well as for professional educational work in the non-school sector.
In research and teaching, our focus is on issues relating to the special needs areas of "learning" and "emotional and social development".
Change of degree program to IFP & old to new PO
Requests to change will only be processed if the student e-mail address (of the University of Siegen or the external university) is used!
If you would like to switch to Educational Sciences with Integrated Special Needs Education, you must first complete the two documents below independently and digitally on your PC.

- Höherstufung IFPE-Mail-Adresse

Please attach a current PDF-
performance overview from the LSF to these two PDF documents filled out digitally on the PC and then send them to the e-mail address: shk-ese@uni-siegen.de. The documents should not be sent read-only or scanned.
Your documents will then be checked as soon as possible and processed as quickly as possible. As soon as this has been done, you will receive a message from us.
In the course of the change, you may have to write a scientific paper (see "Guidelines for scientific work") as part of the recognition in addition to your previous achievements for the change of subject to Educational Sciences with Integrated Special Education, which deals with the two specializations Learning (LE) and Emotional and Social Development (EsE), which you are expected to study at the University of Siegen in the future.

All documents (including the written paper) if you wish to change to BiWi with IFP must be submitted by 15.08. (for the winter semester) or 15.02. (for the summer semester) by e-mail.
Please allow up to 6 weeks for the processing of your transfer project.
Exchange conferences
More complex issues will be discussed once a month in an exchange conference and you will then receive feedback on your concerns. The dates are as follows:
