Teaching Better – A New Approach to Structural and Architectural Design - NeStaKAL

Project Description

Lehre Projekt

NeStaKAL is a follow-up project to the ProTra 2.0 pilot project and is developing new approaches to teaching structural engineering in architecture. Virtual structural models enable students to intuitively grasp the interplay between structure and form and to explore it experimentally. A digital, guided discussion forum integrates analysis, design, and collaborative reflection, thereby strengthening students’ understanding of structural design, their judgment, and their sense of personal responsibility.
