Prof. Dr. Thomas Mannel is a renowned theoretical physicist whose research focuses primarily on elementary particle physics and quantum chromodynamics (QCD). He is co-speaker of the TRR-SFB 257, winner of the Erwin Schrödinger Visiting Professorship 2025 and PI in the Cluster of Excellence "Color meets Flavor". His research focuses on the development of mathematical methods and the search for phenomena beyond the standard model.
