M_P6 - Master's Thesis

The Chair of Structural Engineering offers the M_P6 module—Master’s Thesis—on an ongoing basis during the summer and winter semesters to students in the Master’s program in Civil Engineering at the University of Siegen. This individual project involves writing a paper on a selected topic related to current research areas, which students must independently research and document using scientific methods within a specified timeframe, and present the results in a lecture.

The M_P6 – Master’s Thesis module is worth 18 credit points. The current examination regulations and the module handbook for the Master’s program in Civil Engineering can be found on the Department of Civil Engineering’s website.

Interested students are welcome to contact us. The Chair of Structural Engineering offers a variety of research topics for students to pursue. In addition, students are encouraged to submit their own proposals in the areas of facades, glass construction, or polymer materials.
