Development of multi-pane insulating glass units with bio-based sealants in the edge seal

Over the next two years, the Chair of Load-bearing Structures at the University of Siegen will be working with the company Glaszentrum Weber + Wagener GmbH & Co. KG from Freudenberg will be investigating the possibilities of developing multi-pane insulating glass units with bio-based sealants in the edge seal.

The research project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) as part of the "Central Innovation Program for SMEs" and supervised by AiF Projekt GmbH in Berlin.
