Enroll in your degree program by October 12
The University of Siegen is giving prospective students more time to make a decision and is extending the enrollment deadline for numerous degree programs. Enrollment remains open until October 12.
The range of programs with no admission restrictions is broad: it spans from teacher education programs to media studies, business administration, and mechanical engineering, all the way to social work. Direct enrollment is now also available for bachelor’s degree programs that previously had admission restrictions—the only exception being the bachelor’s program in psychology.
Applications for master’s programs are also still being accepted
No lengthy application process is required for these programs. The entire process takes place entirely digitally via the unisono online portal: After registering, you simply need to upload the required documents.
Separate deadlines apply to specific programs: Applications for the aptitude assessment process for the Bachelor’s in Architecture are still being accepted until September 15, 2026. For numerous Master’s programs, the application deadline runs until the end of September.
“Studying at our university is not just about acquiring knowledge; it is a time of personal growth within a vibrant campus community,” says Prof. Dr. Stefanie Reese, Rector of the University of Siegen. “We offer our students the freedom to discover their own talents, while at the same time building a bridge to a successful professional future through close cooperation with the regional business community and international partners.”
For anyone who is still unsure which path is right for them, the Central Student Advising Office (ZSB) offers the right guidance. The team provides support for all questions related to choosing a program—both online and via its Instagram channel.
