From March 6 to 8, 2024, the 6th HiPerMat Conference took place at the University of Kassel; an international symposium on ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) and high-performance materials.
In the "Material Models I" session, Kevin Metje from the Chair of Concrete Structures at the University of Siegen presented the results of a statistical evaluation of various shear force design approaches for UHPFRC bending beams. His paper "Statistical Evaluation of UHPFRC Shear Verification Methods", co-authored with Sonja Lütticke and Torsten Leutbecher, received the Best Paper Award at the conference dinner on March 7.
