Invited lecture at the 19th D-A-CH Conference on Earthquake Engineering & Structural Dynamics in Vienna

Prof. Okyay Altay gave an invited lecture at the 19th D-A-CH Conference on Earthquake Engineering & Structural Dynamics on September 19, 2025 in Vienna. The conference brings together experts from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to discuss current developments in earthquake engineering and structural dynamics.

In his lecture, Prof. Altay presented new approaches to active learning-based modelling in structural dynamics and showed how data-driven methods can contribute to the optimization of vibration control devices and the dynamic analysis of structures.
