On June 22, 2026, Karla Fliedner successfully defended her dissertation, titled “From Daily to Major Life Events: Assessing the Subjective Perception of Events,” at Humboldt University of Berlin, receiving the highest distinction of summa cum laude. The dissertation was reviewed by Prof. Matthias Ziegler (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), Prof. Manon van Scheppingen (Tilburg University), and Prof. Kai Horstmann (Universität Siegen).
