Promotion Janina Florack

After submitting her doctoral thesis on "People with dementia at home: the importance of living and decision support", Janina Florack from Prof. Dr. Julia Haberstroh's research group took the final step towards obtaining her doctoral degree with the successful oral defense of her dissertation on 10 December 2025.
Her dissertation was graded "magna cum laude". Congratulations on this great achievement!
For Janina Florack, however, the doctorate not only marks the successful completion of a stage in her life, but also the start of new projects and further development in the clinical field. In future, she would like to focus on improving neuropsychological diagnostics in the field of dementia, particularly with regard to fair and inclusive conditions (e.g. visual/hearing impairment, language barrier). In addition, she began her training as a psychological psychotherapist in January 2026. We wish her all the best and every success for all future challenges!
