Research project: Development of applied solar modules at the Chair of Load-bearing Structures

Over the next three years, the Chair of Load-bearing Structures at the University of Siegen, together with the companies SOLYCO Solar AG, MW Photovoltaik Engineering GmbH and ecorev GmbH from Berlin, will be investigating the possibilities for developing applied solar modules on façades for industrial and commercial buildings in order to significantly increase the cost-effectiveness of building-applied photovoltaics.

The research project is being funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) as part of the 8th Energy Research Program and is being supervised by Project Management Jülich, Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH in Jülich.
