Apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic specializing in precision engineering at the Hölderlin site
The training organization:
- In the first phase of training, basic inter-occupational training takes place in which skills and knowledge from the metal sector are acquired. In the second part of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will receive job-specific training as an industrial mechanic and specialize in precision engineering.
- Duration of training: 3.5 years
Basic metal courses for internal trainees in the following professions:
- Materials tester
- Technical product designer
- Industrial mechanic
Fields of activity:
- Industrial mechanics manufacture workpieces and assemble them in compliance with quality-relevant specifications, assemble components and put them into operation, carry out maintenance work and repairs, check and document quality data, master the latest control technologies (CNC, pneumatics, PLC), plan and organize the flow of materials in their field of activity, plan work processes taking into account quantities and delivery deadlines.
Possible employment:
- Industrial mechanics in the field of precision engineering work in production companies (e.g. car parts supply industry, aircraft construction) and for manufacturers of devices and systems, such as adjustment, measuring, weighing and counting equipment, production and assembly aids, office technology, photographic and film technology, medical and optical devices. The activities are primarily carried out in individual and small series production, assembly, quality assurance and service.
