About the audit
Contents
The admission procedure consists of a selection interview which focuses on basic questions of the subject of theology with its various disciplines (Old Testament; New Testament; church history; systematic theology [dogmatics/ethics]; practical theology; denominational studies/world religions) and on the personal motivation to study the "Christian Theologies in Ecumenical Perspective" sub-degree program.
As a subject-related aptitude test for the degree program "Christian Theologies in Ecumenical Perspective", the selection interview serves as an exemplary examination of the professional competence to deal in depth with basic questions and basic topics of theology on the basis of the preparatory literature and to take a position on them. In addition to taking a personal position on the content of the preparatory literature, it is also about the ability to present one's own arguments and thoughts in a linguistically clear form.
Preparation
To prepare for the selection interview, applicants should read a section from the book by Martin H. Jung, Einführung in die Theologie, Darmstadt 2004, pp. 29-78. By studying this text, applicants can familiarize themselves with the character of the subject of theology and the essential questions of the various disciplines of theology.
If you have difficulties accessing this text or have further questions about the selection interview, please contact Prof. Dr. Ulrich Riegel.
