You Changed?!

The project You Changed?! Life events and personality development in adolescence is an online longitudinal study in which young people aged 15-18 were surveyed four times at two-month intervals, i.e. over six months, at the beginning of the second hard corona lockdown in December 2020. Young people could register to participate as long as schools had not yet returned to normal operation, i.e. until May 2021, so that the phase of the lockdown, i.e. the breaking up of social and school routines and the phase of the slow return to these everyday routines, were covered until November 2021. The study examined the development of well-being, loneliness, social contacts and school performance, taking into account social support from friendships, teachers and the parental home. You Changed?! is one of the few studies in the context of the coronavirus pandemic that covers both the lockdown phase and the phase of the slow return to everyday (school) life, making it possible to investigate stress and supposed recovery processes.
