The information service FIT (Research, International Affairs, Transfer) provides researchers at the University of Siegen with targeted and tailored information on research funding, international cooperation and knowledge transfer.

FIT regularly provides you with current calls for proposals, funding programs and information on prizes, scholarships or project funding - tailored to your individual research interests and funding preferences.

What does FIT offer?

FIT is an e-mail service that automatically informs you about relevant funding opportunities. After registering, you can create a personal profile and specify there

• which subject areas you would like to be informed about

• which types of funding (e.g. research projects, support for young researchers, scholarships, prizes) you are interested in,

• which funding institutions (e.g. DFG, EU, federal ministries, foundations) you would like to receive information from,

• and when you would like to receive your notifications by e-mail.

You can also search for current calls for proposals directly in the FIT database at any time.

Registration and login

You can use the FIT service via fit.uni-kassel.de. After registering on this page, you will receive a verification email. You can use the information in this email to log in via the link provided. The service can only be used after you have confirmed your e-mail address.

If you want to change your data later, you can do this via the FIT page
under "Settings", provided you are logged in.

Registration with FIT is only possible via an e-mail address with the domain @uni-siegen.de.
