Student Voices: Insights into the Philosophy Program

I am on a journey of discovery
I have always been passionate about exploring life’s big questions, especially those around ethics and morality. Engaging with different philosophical perspectives, thinkers, and the rich history of one of the oldest academic disciplines truly excites me. So far, my experience in this philosophy program has been very positive—I appreciate the historical context as well as the emphasis on critical thinking: learning to identify questionable arguments, argue effectively, and understand the deeper implications of seemingly straightforward theories. Philosophy is incredibly relevant today, especially during challenging times, as it encourages us to confront fundamental questions. Now in my third semester, I’m still on a journey of discovery and feel confident this intellectual exploration will continue.
