The Big Band of the University of Siegen can now look back on a tradition of almost 30 years. Pieces or even extensive works from various jazz styles are rehearsed and performed in regular concerts. In addition to individual performances, there are also joint performances with other ensembles, e.g. the uniChor Siegen or vocal and instrumental soloists. Since the summer semester of 2010, Martin Reuthnerhas
has been leading the Big Band of the University of Siegen.
