uniChoir
The uniChor Siegen is made up of students and staff from the entire university - external members are also very welcome! The repertoire is wide-ranging. In addition to a cappella choral music from the Baroque to the present day, larger works are regularly performed with instrumental or orchestral accompaniment, e.g. in cooperation with the uniOrchester, the Philharmonie Südwestfalen or other choirs such as the Kantorei Siegen. Since the summer of 2004, the uniChor has been under the direction of UMD Ute Debus.

We are happy to welcome committed singers in all voice groups. All university members and external singers who enjoy choral singing are very welcome!

Rehearsal work
Regular rehearsals are essential in order to bring appealing concert programs to the stage. The rehearsals of the uniChor Siegen take place weekly during the semester
Wednesdays, 18:00-19:30
in the music hall of the University of Siegen
take place. In addition, the choir meets once a semester for a rehearsal weekend to enable intensive rehearsals and to strengthen the choir community.
