uniOrchestra
The uniOrchester Siegen is made up of students and staff from across the University of Siegen—and external participants are also warmly welcome! The repertoire is wide-ranging. In addition to compositions ranging from the Baroque era to the present, the orchestra regularly performs larger works in collaboration with the Siegen University Choir or vocal and instrumental soloists. Since the summer of 2004, the Siegen University Orchestra has been under the direction of UMD Ute Debus.

Rehearsal Work
Regular rehearsals are essential for putting on engaging concert programs. The Siegen University Orchestra rehearses weekly during the semester
Tuesdays, 6:00–7:45 p.m.
in the music room at the University of Siegen
. In addition, the orchestra meets once a semester for a rehearsal weekend to facilitate intensive rehearsals and strengthen the sense of community within the orchestra.
