uniOrchestra
The uniOrchester Siegen is made up of students and staff from the entire university - external musicians are also very welcome! The repertoire is wide-ranging. In addition to compositions from the Baroque to the present day, larger works are regularly prepared in cooperation with the uniChor Siegen or vocal and instrumental soloists. Since the summer of 2004, the uniOrchestra has been under the direction of UMD Ute Debus.

We are happy to welcome committed musicians. All university members and external musicians who enjoy playing in an orchestra are welcome!
If you are interested or have any questions, please send us an e-mail
and tell us briefly who you are, what instrument you play and whether you have any previous orchestral experience. We on the board look forward to hearing from you!
Rehearsal work
Regular rehearsals are mandatory in order to bring appealing concert programs to the stage. The rehearsals of the uniOrchestra Siegen take place weekly during the semester
Tuesdays, 18:00-19:45
in the music hall of the University of Siegen
take place. In addition, we meet once a semester for a rehearsal weekend to enable intensive rehearsals and strengthen the orchestra community.
