Doctoral Regulations
As of February 8, 2021, the doctoral regulations for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) and Doctor of Law (Dr. iur.) have been amended and are now in effect.
All doctoral candidates enrolled under the old regulations may continue their doctoral studies under those regulations. Transition periods are in place.
New enrollments are now only possible under the new regulations.
Resolution of the DEWR Doctoral Committee dated March 24, 2021:
If a dissertation begun under the DEWR PromO is submitted after this DEWR PromO expires on July 16, 2021, without meeting the additional requirements specified in § 11(2) of the gPromO as of that date, the proceedings cannot be initiated until the missing requirements are submitted.
