TeleDiag@smart
The “TeleDiag@smart” project (September 2023–August 2025) is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The project aims to develop a telemedicine tool to improve the diagnosis of post-COVID syndrome. The Chair of “Business Information Systems, with a Focus on IT for an Aging Society,” led by Prof. Dr. Claudia Müller, is conducting research at the University of Siegen in collaboration with RWTH Aachen University and the Munich-based company ALMA PHIL GmbH to develop such a socio-technical support technology. Using digital data collection methods and speech recognition technologies, it becomes possible to efficiently analyze symptoms in collaboration with patients. By integrating data from various sources, diagnostic accuracy is improved, and those affected receive support in their daily lives tailored to their specific needs and requirements.
