Welcome to the working group for Network and Data Science Management
In our research and teaching we deal with quantitative and structural analysis as well as with the solution of difficult decision and optimization problems in the course of operational and interdisciplinary planning and development processes. On this page you can find out more about our team, our projects and our courses.
Our research profile
Methods & Applications in Operations Research & Data Analytics
Another thematic focus is network and data analysis with the aim of gaining structural information and knowledge as well as strategic decision support, for example by means of supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods and graph algorithms.
We therefore also stand for practice-relevant methodological expertise in teaching, which is becoming increasingly important in view of the ever-increasing need for efficiency and sustainability as well as the ever-increasing availability and criticality of data. New problems and challenges from science and practice meet with our efforts to solve them in the best possible way, depending on their nature, either in collaboration with our cooperation partners or together in the course of new cooperations. Please feel free to contact us!
