The novel is about fifteen-year-old Eddi, who attends a sports boarding school near Neubrandenburg and is suddenly faced with a radical upheaval: Her parents are planning to move to Japan, while a serious accusation hovers over her mother. Eddi only has a few days to reorganize her life. But now, of all times, she locks herself out of her apartment - with nothing but a melting Capri ice cream in her hand...
