Difficult teaching situations and other challenges are part of everyday life at universities. In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss current cases with colleagues and brainstorm solutions. Topics may include group dynamics or students who don’t participate or behave inappropriately. But challenges related to one’s role, time management, or technical issues—and their consequences—can also be topics of discussion...

Objectives:
In this half-day session, you’ll have the opportunity to present current cases, reflect on experiences together with others, and learn about strategies and approaches (including their costs and benefits).  

Agenda:
After a brief icebreaker, current challenges and questions will be collected. The group will then decide which ones to address. Eva-Maria Schumacher will facilitate the session, drawing on her expertise as a higher education pedagogue, supervisor, and coach.
