Elena Stracke has been a research associate at the Chair of Management, Accounting and Corporate Governance since May 2026. Her doctoral research focuses on sustainability reporting and CSR/ESG disclosure, particularly in relation to greenwashing.

She holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration with a focus on Auditing and Controlling as well as a M.Sc. in Accounting, Auditing and Taxation awarded by the University of Siegen.

Alongside her studies, Elena Stracke gained practical experience working as a student-at-work in the audit and tax department of a Next Ten firm. After completing her studies, she continued working as a consultant in audit and tax services, gaining experience in both a Next Ten firm and a firm focusing on the German Mittelstand.
