Dr. Marion Hippchen studied International Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences for Technology and Economics of Saarland (HTW Saar). After completing her studies, she worked as a Tax Senior at Ernst & Young Luxembourg and subsequently as a Project Manager at UBS Luxembourg. She also gained experience with medium-sized tax advisory and auditing companies.

Alongside her professional career, she completed a Master's degree in Finance & Banking at the Scientific University of Lahr (Wissenschaftliche Hochschule Lahr). During her doctoral studies, Dr. Hippchen served as a research associate at the Chair of Business Administration, with a focus on Accounting and Corporate Governance, at the University of Siegen.

She earned her doctoral degree (Dr. rer. pol.) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andreas Dutzi in July 2016 at the University of Witten/Herdecke.

Dr. Hippchen is currently Head of Corporate Finance at SHS – Stahl-Holding-Saar.
