Advanced Seminar in Historical Theology Siegen with Bonn

On March 23, 2026, the Department of Historical Theology at the University of Siegen will continue its established cooperation with the Department of Ancient Church History at the University of Bonn's Faculty of Catholic Theology.
As usual, the interdisciplinary and inter-university advanced seminar offers space for joint discussions in a concentrated working atmosphere.
The program includes two contributions: Sebastian Lüke (Bonn) will speak on "Studies on the Evaluation of Physical Labor in Ancient Eastern Monasticism", Sebastian Hanstein (Siegen) on "Caelibatus doctrina. Lively debate on celibacy in the late 4th century".
