Lehr:Radar - The new program is here!
New impetus for university teaching
The Center for Academic Teaching (ZFH) is kicking off the new semester with a varied workshop program. The offers are aimed at lecturers of all levels of experience and support them in further developing their teaching skills, gaining new impulses for university teaching and exchanging ideas with colleagues.
The focus is on current topics in university teaching - from the targeted design and structuring of teaching content to the use of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning processes and the development of a personal teaching portfolio. In addition, the basic workshops on curriculum planning and teaching development offer valuable suggestions for designing successful courses. Workshops on promoting AI skills among students and introductions to the Moodle learning platform are also offered.
Wide range of ZFH workshops to kick off the new semester
Practical formats such as peer case consultation, moderating discussions and practising feedback discussions promote exchange between lecturers and strengthen confidence in challenging teaching situations. New lecturers receive a comprehensive introduction to teaching at the university as part of onboarding events.
A special highlight of the program is the 20th anniversary of university didactics (HD) under the motto "We move people". It provides an opportunity to look back on two decades of successful teaching development and to jointly discuss perspectives for the future of university teaching.
With its current range of workshops, the ZFH creates a variety of opportunities for professionalization, networking and further development of contemporary university teaching.
