Statista Database - Online Workshop Hosted by the Provider
Statista is a statistics portal that aggregates statistical data from various institutions and sources. The database offers statistics on over 80,000 topics from more than 18,000 different sources. Statista covers 20 different industry categories, ranging from agriculture to public administration and social services.
At the start of the semester, the provider is inviting all students, researchers, faculty, and staff at the University of Siegen to an online workshop on AI-supported academic research.
The workshop will highlight the typical risks associated with using AI in research and how to address them in practice. In this context, it will also demonstrate how the Statista platform and the ResearchAI tool can support data-driven research.
The goal is to promote a critical and responsible approach to using AI tools.
