The TestDaF, the German language test for international applicants, can be taken at the Language Center of the University of Siegen. The TestDaF proves that you have the language skills to study at a German university. Academics can also use the TestDaF to prepare for research stays. The TestDaF certificate is recognized by all universities in Germany.

The TOEFL iBT® test, the world's leading English test for academic purposes, can be taken at the Language Center of the University of Siegen. The test is recognized by over 13,000 universities and institutions in more than 160 countries, assesses English language skills in realistic university situations and is suitable for studies, scholarships, visa applications or professional qualifications.

The transfer posting of G/L expenses is an administrative process for correcting expenses or income that have been erroneously posted to projects or cost centers. It also serves to correct the G/L account used.

At the University of Siegen’s Language Center, students can learn Turkish from the beginner level up to A2—including cultural studies and cultural awareness. Students have the option to earn the UNIcert® certificate. In addition, Turkish is offered to students whose native language is Turkish; in this course, they can deepen their language skills.

UNIcert® is a certificate for foreign language training at universities. UNIcert® training prepares participants to study or work in the target language.

The ZIMT offers institutions of the University of Siegen the opportunity to book virtual servers for their own IT services.

VPN gives you access to university content and services that are otherwise only accessible from within the university, e.g. licensed databases and e-resources, including full texts from the library of the university. For information on how to set this up, please visit our info page.

To improve IT security, a vulnerability scanner is used to regularly check the university's central and externally accessible IT systems for security gaps.
