Representatives of the University of Siegen and Georgia State University in Atlanta have signed a joint declaration of intent for future cooperation.

Expiry of older examination regulations

At the end of the winter semester 2025/2026, the subject-specific provisions of the full-time and part-time Bachelor's and Master's degree programs of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (before 2020-1) will expire. With a few exceptions, all degree programs will be continued with updated examination regulations and study models.

Science prize for Siegen media theorist

Erhard Schüttpelz, Professor of Media Theory at the University of Siegen, is this year's science prize winner of the Hamburg Aby Warburg Foundation. The prize is awarded to individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of art, culture and the humanities.
