HPC Cluster Maintenance July 15, 2026

On Monday, July 15, 2026, Department 5 will be performing maintenance work on the cooling system. The overall impact on the HPC cluster is expected to be minimal. Nevertheless, as a precautionary measure, the number of available nodes will be reduced by approximately 50% from the day before until the end of the maintenance work.

 

Cluster functionality will remain fully intact, but wait times for jobs may increase slightly. This will not affect jobs that are already running.

 

In particular, users who wish to use specific nodes should check their availability. Users who have configured jobs without specifying particular nodes, however, should not be affected. All queues and partitions will remain available.
