Security update for login with second factor

Between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., an urgently required security update will be carried out on the service for the second factor login. During this period, there may be brief interruptions to the login process if a second factor is required. Users who have previously logged in without a second factor may also be affected, as the check to see whether a second factor is required cannot take place during this time.

All services that use Shibboleth IDP or Citrix Netscaler authentication to log on are affected. It is not expected that existing sessions will be interrupted.
