What does the Faculty Council decide?
The Faculty Council is responsible for making decisions on school matters that do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Dean’s Office or another designated authority.
The Faculty Council has the following responsibilities, among others:
- Enacting and amending regulations for the schools
- Receiving reports from the Dean’s Office
- Making recommendations for the appointment and replacement of professors
- Making proposals for the introduction, modification, and discontinuation of degree programs
- Electing the Dean’s Office
- Reaching a consensus on the development plan and the allocation of funds
