Dr. Oliver Schneider has been a Research Associate at the Chair of Management, Accounting and Corporate Governance, since May 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Auditing and Management Accounting, as well as a Master of Science in Accounting, Auditing and Taxation, specializing in Information Systems, from the University of Siegen.

 

Alongside his studies, Dr. Oliver Schneider gained two years of practical experience as a working student in the Process Quality and Management Processes department at SMS Group GmbH in Hilchenbach. He subsequently spent nearly two years working as a working student in the Audit and Tax department at Ebner Stolz GmbH & Co. KG in Siegen. Furthermore, he served as a student assistant and tutor at the Chair of Management, Accounting and Corporate Governance, at the University of Siegen.

 

Upon completing his studies, Dr. Oliver Schneider joined the Audit and Tax department at RSM Ebner Stolz GmbH & Co. KG in Siegen. Alongside his role as a Research Associate, he continues to work there to this day as a Manager in the Audit department. In this capacity, he specializes in advising on and auditing accounting-related internal control systems (ICS), as well as conducting annual and consolidated financial statement audits in accordance with HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS. Additionally, Dr. Oliver Schneider has been certified as a Certified Internal Auditor by the Institute of Internal Auditors since 2025.
