Self Assessment
A self-assessment can also be carried out to test whether studying psychology is suitable for you. These are online tests developed by scientists to help you get to know the requirements of studying psychology better and to better assess your own inclination to study psychology. The self-assessment is evaluated automatically, so you receive immediate feedback on your results.
A general assessment for the psychology degree program is OSA-Psych
represents. It was developed in cooperation with the universities of Freiburg, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Saarbrücken, Tübingen and Ulm. It includes an expectations and interest test, an ability test and additional information about the course in general.
A self-assessment specifically for the University of Siegen is currently being developed and will be made available here as soon as possible.
In addition, the German Society for Psychology offers a list of self-assessments
from various other universities (see also here).
The University of Hamburg offers the Study Compass Psychology
which also contains videos on a typical study day of a psychology student as well as videos on professional fields in psychology.
