Pupils who show particular talent can, in individual cases, study at the University of Siegen as so-called "young students" while still at school. They can complete coursework and examinations which can be credited towards a later degree course on application.

Admission requirements:

• Informal signed application from the parents (in the case of minors) or the pupil
• Declaration of consent from the school management
• Declaration of consent from the department or the supervising lecturer
