Gendered innovations and research funding

Third-party funding bodies have set up numerous funding lines for all disciplines in which gender and diversity are addressed and meaningful passages on the consideration of gender and diversity are required. This is where the University of Siegen can and should make its mark and take advantage of third-party funding opportunities. The aim of the event is to demonstrate the potential of a gender perspective for innovative research and to familiarize participants with the gender-related requirements of (EU) research policy.

This is where the University of Siegen can and should make its mark and take advantage of third-party funding opportunities. The aim of the event is to highlight the potential of a gender perspective for innovative research and to familiarize ourselves with the gender-related requirements of (EU) research policy.
We have been able to attract experts from the German Council of Science and Humanities and the EU Office of the Ministry of Research (BMFTR) for the contributions and discussion, with whom we can discuss the concept of gendered innovations and questions of research funding.
The event will provide you with a well-founded overview of relevant EU research standards and practical information on how gender-related requirements can be taken into account in applications and project planning.
