Ethical Witnessing: Survivor Testimony and Graphic Narrative

On November 3, 2026, Dr. Charlotte Schallié will explain how the experiences and stories of survivors are portrayed in graphic novels in an ethical and responsible manner.

Dr. Charlotte Schallié is a faculty member at the University of Victoria and serves as co-director of the partnership project “Survivor-Centered Visual Narratives.” Charlotte Schallié is also the author of *But I Live: Three Stories of Child Survivors of the Holocaust* (Toronto: New Jewish Press, 2022).
