Department 1 - Finances

The Finance Department is the point of contact for all questions relating to financial and economic matters. This includes, for example, external accounting, third-party funding administration and travel expenses. Occupational health and safety and health management are also located in Department 1. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact the staff.

Performance-related remuneration for professors

Professors in salary groups W2 and W3 can be granted variable performance-related pay in addition to the basic salary granted as a minimum salary in accordance with the NRW State Salary Act and the NRW University Performance-Related Pay Ordinance. For information on the requirements and the award procedure, please refer to the guideline on performance-related pay.

Polish

The Language Center offers Polish courses for beginners. The module consists of three consecutive courses and concludes at level A1. The courses promote both oral and written language skills and provide an insight into Polish culture, literature and history.

Russian

At the Language Center of the University of Siegen, students can learn Russian from basic to A2 level. They also have the opportunity to complete the UNIcert® basic certificate. The courses not only teach language skills, but also provide an insight into Russian culture, everyday life and communication.
