Welcome Event for First-Year Students and Career Fair

On Monday, October 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the central welcome event for first-year students will take place in the Audimax on the Adolf-Reichwein-Straße campus.
That morning (9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.), many university departments and student organizations will also be presenting their offerings in and in front of the Audimax foyer (“Market of Opportunities”).
The library and the Center for Academic Writing (ZefaS) will also be there. At our booth, we’ll answer questions such as:

– What do you need to do to activate your library card in the Uni Siegen app?
– What options are available for studying at the University Library, either alone or in a group?
– How do I find literature related to my courses?
– How can I use digital resources?
– How does the Center for Academic Writing (ZefaS) support me with my writing projects during my studies?

Of course, we’re also happy to answer any other questions you may have about our media and services.
