From July 26 to 31, students of Protestant and Catholic theology at the University of Siegen, led by Prof. Dr. Veronika Albrecht-Birkner and Prof. Emeritus Dr. Andreas Hoffmann, took part in an interdisciplinary German-Polish field trip to the region between Brandenburg, Potsdam, and Havelberg. The field trip was organized in cooperation with the universities of Halle and Wrocław.

The Department of Protestant Theology in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Siegen mourns the passing of Prof. Dr. Ingo Baldermann, who died on August 27 at the age of 97.

Once again this year, the departments of Protestant and Catholic Theology showcased their programs at the University Open House on the square at the Lower Castle.
