Reservation:
You can reserve a Carrel via the Katalog plus. As soon as a carrel is available, you will be notified by e-mail. The chip keys can be picked up and returned Monday - Friday until 4pm. The chip keys issued must be initialized daily at the device in the entrance area of the library. As soon as the device lights up, the chip key can be used to unlock the carrel.
Please note: Due to the high demand, we urge you to pick up the carrel key in time or to cancel the reservation for a carrel if it is no longer needed.

Day Carrels:
You can now use a day carrel at the Main Library Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR) and the Branch Library Unteres Schloss (US).
Simply request a day carrel at the circulation desk.

- This service is available only to students with a valid library card or an activated USiCard/Uni Siegen app.
- Reservations via Katalog Plus or by phone/email are not possible.
- The loan period is valid only for the current day—from when the library opens until it closes.
