Students about the business studies program

Lots of options, individual design, good supervision!
Studying in Siegen was unfortunately not my first idea when I was looking for a place to study after my Abitur. In hindsight, I'm very happy with my decision, because once you've arrived, you quickly realize what decisive advantages Siegen has to offer as a place to study. The campus in the castle is centrally located near the train station, the distances are short, the lecture halls are not overcrowded thanks to the good student-to-staff ratio and if you want to, you can easily talk to the professors.
In the first semesters, you learn the basics of business administration. Here you learn the basics such as accounting, marketing, production and, for example, a business simulation game is also carried out. Afterwards, you can choose from a wide range of specializations. This gives you the opportunity to follow your interests and tailor your studies accordingly. I was very interested in International Management, for example. If you want, you also have the opportunity to continue your education beyond the course content through additional modules and certificate courses. This prepares you even better for professional practice.
There are also numerous opportunities to get involved in voluntary work and develop soft skills. For example, I am involved in the student council to promote student interests. The social interaction between students has helped me make contacts for life. And if you ever need advice during your studies, the Academic Advisor for Business Administration is there to help you. I would therefore always choose the University of Siegen again.
