Students about the business studies program

Alumnus der BWL

Lots of options, individual design, good supervision!

Studying in Siegen wasn't my first choice when I was deciding where to study after finishing school. Looking back, though, I'm glad I ended up here—once you arrive, you quickly see the real advantages Siegen offers. The castle campus sits right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the train station, so getting around is easy. There's plenty of room to breathe in every class, so lecture halls never feel overcrowded, and if you want to talk with your professors, you can.

In your early semesters, you build a solid foundation in business administration, covering topics like accounting, marketing, and production—including a business simulation game that lets you put what you've learned into practice. After that, you can choose from a wide range of specializations to match your interests and shape your own path. I was especially drawn to International Management. If you want to go further, additional modules and certificate courses let you build on your coursework and get even better prepared for your career.

Siegen also gives you plenty of ways to get involved outside the classroom and build soft skills. I served on the student council to represent student interests, and the connections I made along the way turned into lasting friendships. And whenever you need guidance, the academic advisor for business administration is there to help. I'd choose the University of Siegen again without hesitation.
