To ensure you’re well-prepared to start your studies, we cordially invite you to participate in the preparatory math course on October 5–6, 2026.
Immediately following that, from October 7–9, 2026, our three-day Welcome Week awaits you, offering plenty of opportunities to get to know your Schools, your fellow students, and important resources.
Here at School III, we don’t just want to impart knowledge—we also want to discover and nurture talent—right from day one!

➕ Our preparatory course for incoming freshmen October 5–6, 2026 The preparatory course in mathematics is intended for all first-year students in the following bachelor’s degree programs:

The “Programming” preparatory course is designed for anyone who would like to gain some initial programming experience before the start of their regular studies or semester. For Business Information Systems students, it can be a particularly helpful preparation, as the required course “Object-Oriented and Functional Programming (OFP)” follows in the summer semester. This applies especially to students who have no prior knowledge from school or their free time. |
Note for international students: Before the start of the lecture period, the Department of International Student Affairs offers an orientation session for Erasmus+ students and international first-year students. [More information]
