Diversity
Shaping a Humane Future - Preserving Diversity
The University of Siegen sees the diversity of its members as the basis, potential and opportunity for scientific progress. It promotes a university culture of appreciation, openness and mutual respect in which all its members can develop and contribute their individual skills and talents. The university sees it as its task to contribute to fair working and study conditions that allow all students, employees and academics to develop in the best possible way and free from discrimination of any kind and to assume their responsibilities in the world of work, family and society. All members of the university should be supported in actively contributing to a university that is low in barriers and discrimination and thus to the fulfillment of structural equal opportunities.
As part of the relaunch of the website, some content - in particular the Digital Diversity Guide - is being fundamentally updated and is therefore not yet fully available.
Digital Diversity Guide
The Digital Diversity Guide is a compact and needs-based guide for all university members on issues relating to diversity and anti-discrimination. It also serves as a navigator to the required support services and contact persons.
