The music students at the University of Siegen regularly perform in public with various ensembles. The uniChoir and the uniOrchestra develop a new concert program every semester. The repertoire ranges from baroque, classical and romantic works to contemporary music. The Big Band of the University of Siegen has also established itself in the musical landscape of North Rhine-Westphalia. Since its collaboration with the jazz musician Jiggs Wigham, it has stood for a differentiated big band repertoire and regular concert activity. The JazzRockPop-Ensemble (JRP-Ensemble) is also an integral part of the music department. Here, students deal with various styles of popular music.

The uniEnsembles represent the subject of music and the University of Siegen at the university's own events and at its own concerts, for example in collaboration with regional choirs or the Philharmonie Südwestfalen.
