Abstract: Insight into everyday prison life - psychological and social services work at Attendorn Prison
Since 1968, Attendorn Prison has combined both open and closed prisons on one site. With 453 prison places, the prison offers an interesting working environment and a wide range of career opportunities for graduates in the fields of psychology and social work.
In an informative presentation, Ismael Blum from the Psychological Service and Anna-Lena Bender and Veronika Wilhelm from the Prison Social Service will give students from the University of Siegen an insight into their work at the prison. Find out more about the work "behind bars" and ask your questions about working in the prison system in the subsequent discussion. Take this opportunity to find out more about these unique career prospects.
