Nationwide Funding Opportunities
These opportunities are generally aimed at students throughout the Federal Republic of Germany. Of particular importance are the organisations for the promotion of gifted students (Begabtenförderwerke), which, within the framework of a programme of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, provide funding for students and doctoral candidates. This is mainly done through the award of full scholarships. The programmes differ depending on the scholarship provider and may be politically, denominationally or ideologically independent.
