About us
The OASE learning workshop is a university facility of the primary school education working group at the University of Siegen and is thus integrated into the various work and research focuses of Schools II. This university learning workshop was established in 1997 as part of the OASE project (Developing Open Working and Social Forms), which at the time was primarily concerned with the conditions for open teaching.
In general, OASE offers the opportunity to deal with and encounter open forms of work in order to demonstrate an alternative to traditional teaching and learning cultures.
Material and literature
In the OASE learning workshop you will find lots of material and specialist literature for studying to become a primary school teacher. Here you will find materials for preparing lessons in all subjects and have the opportunity to borrow them. The OASE learning workshop also has numerous digital tools that offer the possibility of modern and alternative forms of learning. The selection of material in the OASE is diverse and ranges from storytelling theater and various instruments to Dienes material.
